Ms. Doris Jean Brewer, age 70 of Campground Court, Corbin, Kentucky passed away  on Thursday morning at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.  She was the mother of Regina Owens of Corbin, Kentucky and Tonya Lockard and Husband,  Lonnie of Artemus, Kentucky. She was the sister of Harris Brewer and wife, Edith and Betty Chadwell and husband, Golvin all of Corbin, Kentucky and Edith Singleton and husband, John of London, Kentucky. Funeral services for Ms. Doris Jean Brewer will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harris Brewer, Jr. and Bro. Jonathan Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Doris Jean Brewer will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home.
