Mrs. Gearldine Barton, age 83, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday evening at the St. Vincent’s Hospital in Salem, Indiana. She was the mother of James Coy Barton and Jennifer of Salem, Indiana and Sharon Amber of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the sister of Linda Durham of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mrs. Gearaldine Barton will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Graveside services and burial for Mrs. Gearldine Barton will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. The family of Mrs. Gearldine Barton will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home.
