Mrs. Marie Scalf Smith, age 70, the wife of Pearl Smith of McClure Bridge Road, Lily, Kentucky passed away on Saturday morning at her residence.  She was the mother of Allen Walker and wife, Donna and Pearl Smith, Jr. all of Lily, Kentucky and Timothy Smith and wife, Carolyn of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the sister of Larry Scalf and wife, Sue of London, Kentucky, Roger Scalf and wife, Joyce and Kathy Rickett and husband, Randy all of Corbin, Kentucky, Richard Scalf and wife, Mary and Vestal Scalf and wife, Beverly all of Louisville, Kentucky.  Funeral services for  Mrs. Marie Scalf Smith will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Eugene Gentry and Bro. Marty Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. The family of Mrs. Marie Scalf Smith will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
