Mr. Obie Mills, age 84, the husband of Sarah Jane Merida Mills of Bark Lane, Gray, Kentucky passed away on Saturday morning at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Bonnie Marion and husband, Leo, Ricky Mills and wife, Ramona, and Obie Mills, Jr. all of Gray, Kentucky, Lonnie Mills and wife, Peggy of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Ronnie Mills and wife, Bonnie of Somerset, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Matthew Mills, by three brothers, Noah Mills, Plez Mills and Isaac Mills, by five sisters, May Eastman, Katherine Eads, Marie Fultz, Freda White and Axie Elliott. Funeral services for Mr. Obie Mills will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Siler and Bro. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Obie Mills will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.  Laurel Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Mills family.
