Gene Fox

Mr. Gene Fox, age 71 of Curry Road, London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday evening at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the father of Jesse Kendall Fox of Florida, Teddy Fox of London, Kentucky, David Fox and wife, Pamela of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Tasha Harshberger of New Jersey, Anita Fox of Corbin, Kentucky and Mary Ammons of North Carolina. He was the brother of Ron Fox and wife, Ellen, James Fox and Kenny Fox all of Manchester, Kentucky, Mary Lou Hurst of Camden, Ohio and Donna Lawson of London, Kentucky. He was also survived by a special friend, Dorothy Shumate of Corbin, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by one son and daughter in law, J.R. Fox and Roberta Fox, by one infant daughter, Nurcilla Louis Fox, by his parents, Govan and Nursiss Davidson Fox, By one sister, Stella Mae Stevens and by one brother, Fountain Fox. Funeral services for Mr. Gene Fox will be conducted on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Jonathan Sizemore officiating. Graveside services and burial for Mr. Gene Fox will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hensley Cemetery in Oneida, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Gene Fox will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home  on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
