Mr. Lawrence Robert Johnson, age 86, of Gray, Kentucky passed away on Friday morning at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the son of the late John and Elvire Vrertl Jankovics and the brother of the late Eva Jankovics . He was also survived by two special caretakers, Peggy Engle of Lily, Kentucky and Don Smith of Gray, Kentucky. He was a long time Professor at Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky.  Private Graveside Service and Burial will be conducted at the Resthaven Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky with Rev. Jonathan Sizemore officiating.  Laurel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
