Mable Marie Monroe

Mrs. Mable Marie Monroe, age 76 of Corinth Cemetery Road, Corbin, Kentucky  passed away on Sunday evening at her residence. She was the mother of Marlene Lawson and husband,  Lester of Rockholds, Kentucky  and Leslie Monroe and wife, Vickie of Barbourville, Kentucky. She was the sister of Roy Powell and wife, Freida of Barbourville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roscoe Monroe and by her second husband, R.C. Smith and by one sister, Mary Hemphill. Memorial services for Mrs. Mable Marie Monroe will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Sister Darlena Barton officiating. The family of Mrs. Mable Marie Monroe will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the service hour  at Laurel Funeral Home.
