Samuel Boyd Phipps

Mr. Samuel Boyd Phipps, age 36, of Falcon Drive, Gray, Kentucky passed away on Sunday at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of Freddie and Cherri Thomas Phipps of Gray, Kentucky. He was the father of Ethan Boyd Phipps of Gray, Kentucky and Sammie Jewel Phipps of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the brother of Fred Lee Phipps and Samantha Phipps Brunette and husband, Christopher all of Gray, Kentucky, Crystal Phipps Hurst and husband, Jason of Corbin, Kentucky and April Phipps Hatfield and husband, Jason of Collierville, Tennessee and by a special friend, Bailey Vaughn of Gray, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Boyd Phipps will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Samuel Boyd Phipps will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jason Hatfield, Jason Hurst, Waylon Hurst, Wyatt Hurst, Christopher Brunette, Michael Hatfield and Fred Phipps. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The New Vision Pentecostal Church, 100 Ascot Drive, Gray, Kentucky 40734.
