Ms. Shahanna Amber Alsip, age 33 of Rita Lane, Corbin, Kentucky passed away Friday at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother of Joshua Vaughn, Chase Vaughn, Skylah Kinney and Alexi Vaughn all of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Linda Kinney of Corbin, Kentucky. The sister of Crystal Honeycutt and husband, Scottie of Barbourville, Kentucky and Veronica Honeycutt and husband, Paul of Corbin, Kentucky. She was also survived by two  nieces, Jazlyn and Haizleigh Kinney and two nephews, Everett Kinney and Timothy Honeycutt all of Corbin, Kentucky. She was a special friend to Marty Vaughn of London, Kentucky.  Funeral services for Ms. Shahanna Amber Alsip will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jonathan Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Stansbury Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.  The family of Ms. Shahanna Amber Alsip will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Friday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Laurel Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Alsip family.
