Amanda Easter (Adams) Miller

Ms. Amanda Easter Adams Miller, age 96, wife of the late Louie Landon Miller of Adams Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday evening at her residence.

She was the mother of Barbara Jean Reed and Deborah Lou Ramsey both of London, Kentucky, Lula Belle George of Corbin, Kentucky, Faye Virginia Felts of Covington, Kentucky and Bobby Eugene Alsip of Bedford, Indiana. She was the sister of Boyd Delbert Adams of Florence, Kentucky and Wanda Childers of Bedford, Indiana. She was also blessed with several grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Dorthae Pentecostal Church of Corbin, Kentucky.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Lula Felts Adams, by two sons, Bobby Ray Alsip and Danny Lynn Alsip. By three daughters, Dora Alene Moore, JoAnn Miller and Vivian Kay Alsip. By one sister, Virgie Mooneyham and by four brothers, Gene Adams, Raymond Adams, Bill Adams and Lloyd Adams.

Funeral services for Ms. Amanda Easter Adams Miller will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Jonathon Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Amanda Easter Adams Miller will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 12:00 Noon.
