Anna Sue (Couch) Phelps

Ms. Anna Sue Phelps, age 80 of Karr Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Friday morning at The Christian Health Center in Corbin, Kentucky.

She was the mother of Jeffrey Caudill and wife, Marlene of London, Kentucky and Gregory Caudill and wife, Kristin of Mt. Washington, Kentucky. She was the sister of Geneva Hamblin of Keavy, Kentucky and Sophia Walker of Fountain City, South Carolina. She was also blessed with five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives, church family and friends to mourn her passing.

She attended the Church of Christ and worked as a Teacher's Assistant for the Laurel County Board of Education.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Phelps, by one son, Jonathan Caudill, by her parents, David & Leona Turner Couch, by five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Ms. Anna Sue Phelps will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Caleb Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Anna Sue Phelps will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
