Mr. Billy Edward Harris, age 89, the husband of Lucille Harris of Woodleigh Court, Corbin, Kentucky passed away Monday afternoon at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, Kentucky. He was the father of James Edward Harris and wife, Kathy of Corbin, Kentucky and Nicholas Bill Harris also of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the brother of Charles Robert Harris of Winter Haven, Florida. Funeral services for Mr. Billy Edward Harris will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Waymon McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the McHargue Cemetery in Lily, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Billy Edward Harris will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request memorial contributions be made to Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church, 1632 Cumberland Falls Highway, Corbin, Kentucky 40701.
