Billy Ray Whitaker

Mr. Billy Ray Whitaker, age 84 of Corbin, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Monday afternoon at the Heritage Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the father of  Billy M. Whitaker and wife, Connie and Edward Whitaker all of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the grandfather to Joey Whitaker of Orleans, Indiana, Tiffany Beddoe Dutton of Madison, Alabama, and Forest Beddoe of Corbin, Kentucky and great grandfather to Shelby Whitaker, Austin Whitaker, and Ryker Dutton.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joe &  Bertha (Big Mom) Whitaker. Prior to his illness, he enjoyed fishing and being on his boat.  Funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Whitaker will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jonathon Sizemore officiating. Graveside services and burial for Mr. Billy Ray Whitaker will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon at the Barbourville City Cemetery in Barbourville, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Billy Ray Whitaker will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
