Bruce Ledford Sawyers

Mr. Bruce Ledford Sawyers, age 65 of Melton Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Friday morning at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky.

He was the brother of Lonnie W. Sawyers and wife, Anita and Rosetta Wynn all of Corbin, Kentucky.

He was the uncle of Wayne Sawyers and wife, Regina, Justin David and wife, Kim and Rhonda Beavers and husband, Danny all of Corbin, Kentucky. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in the Housekeeping/Maintenance Department at Baptist Health- Corbin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter H. and Margaret Young Sawyers, by one brother, Wade Sawyers, by three sisters, Gail Sawyers, Brenda Sawyers and Verda Sawyers and by one nephew, Ricky Sawyers.

Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Ledford Sawyers will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Paul officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial for Mr. Bruce Ledford Sawyers will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon at the Upper Mulberry Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be, Wayne Sawyers, Justin David, David Huff, Danny Beavers, Keelan David, Xavier David and Dalton Huff.
