Mr. Charles H. King, Jr. age 79, the husband of the late Vera Lois Jones King of Master Street, Corbin, Kentucky passed away Saturday morning at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the father of Donald L. King and wife, Terri, Charles King III and wife, Jody and Steven M. King and wife Treena all of Corbin, Kentucky and Mark E. King and wife, Denise of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was the brother of Helen Kay and Nina May Sullivan both of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Francis Mildred Pinnelle of Texas. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. King, Sr. and Margaret Martha McGrory King, by a daughter, Nancy Margaret King, by a brother, John Joseph McGrory and by a sister, Ray Elizabeth Judd. He was a self-employed painter and a member of the 17th Street Christian Church of Corbin. Funeral services for Charles H. King, Jr. will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily. The family of Mr. Charles H. King, Jr. will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Wes King, Derrick King, Jerry Brown, David Root, Steve Baker and Brian Evans.  Corbin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Charles H. King, Jr.
