Charlotte Jean (Nix) Johnson

Mrs. Charlotte Jean Nix Johnson, age 56 of Holly Grove Road, Corbin, Kentucky, wife of Richard Johnson passed away on Wednesday afternoon.

She was the mother of Jenny Johnson of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Maxine Nix of Keavy, Kentucky. She was the sister of Thelma Renee Allen of Corbin, Kentucky. She was also blessed with five grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Medical Assistant. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Charles Johnson, by her father, Charles Nix and by one sister, Sheila Hensley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Price, Michael Elliott, Aaron Miracle, Xavier Miracle, Holly Price and Elyssa Johnson.
