Mr. Curtis Jenkins, age 80 of South Highway 1223 Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Friday afternoon at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin Kentucky. He was the brother of Kenneth Jenkins and wife Teresa, Keith Jenkins and wife, Sylvia, Nealy Jenkins, Jr. and wife Sherry and Russell Jenkins all of Corbin, Kentucky and Rena Arnold, and husband Bill of Lexington, Kentucky. He was also blessed with his little dogs, Frick and Kojak, plus a host of several nieces and nephews, other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was the owner operator of Jenkins Sanitation for over 50 years and retired at the age of 75. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the North Corbin Missionary Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Nealy and Ruby Elam Jenkins and by one sister, Doris Miller, by two brothers, Bobby Jenkins and Roy Wayne Jenkins.
Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Jenkins will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brent Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Curtis Jenkins will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Joel Roark, Billy Roark, Brandon Jenkins, Bryan Jenkins, Jimmy Robinson, Billy Arnold, Nick Arnold and Cuz.
