Mr. David Daryl Ellington, age 55, the husband of  Contessa Spencer Ellington of Carson Lane, East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Monday morning at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of David Wayne Constant of Atlanta, Georgia, George David Darryl Ellington, LeeVontess Spencer, Jacobe Christopher Ellington, Logan Ellington and Alexis Ellington all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, David Darryl Ellington and Denika Ellington both of Waco, Texas, Daniella Ellington of  St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. He was the brother of William Andrews and wife, Wilda, Kenneth Ellington and wife, April, Peggy Cowan and husband, David and Arletta Byrd all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Ronald Ellington of Charlotte, North Carolina, Donald Ellington of York, Pennsylvania, Michael Ellington of Benham, Kentucky, William Carl Ellington of Florence, Kentucky, Marshall Ellington of Detroit, Michigan, Barbara Thomas of Washington, D.C., Wanda Peeples and husband, Walter  of Houston, Texas, Betty Louise Clark of Columbus, Ohio and Shirley Cowan and husband, Asberry of Frazier, Kentucky. He was the grandfather of Kayden Jamar Peter of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and David Constant of Atlanta, Georgia. Home going services for Mr. David Darryl Ellington will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of East Bernstadt with Pastor Terry Jackson, Pastor Lora Peters and Pastor Ronnie Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Carson Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky with the local D.A.V. in charge of Military Honors. The family of Mr. David Darryl Ellington will receive friends at The First Baptist Church of East Bernstadt  on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. Corbin Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
