Mr. Donald Ray Robinson, age 78 of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, passed on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Katherine Bowman Robinson; his daughter, Letonya Lawson and husband Rodney of Orlando, Kentucky, by two grandchildren, Isaac and Hannah Lawson, by his siblings, J.E. and Edna Robinson, Timothy and Kimberly Robinson, Hazel Moore, Patricia Ann Artley, and Louise and Danny Rigsby, all of Orlando, Kentucky, Joe Robinson and Howard and Debbie Robinson, both of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and Sandra and Jeff Smith of Livingston, Kentucky and by a special neighbor, Lloyd Durham. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Jr., Wendell, and Daniel Robinson.

 He was born in Orlando, KY on October 29, 1942 the son of John and Gladys Baker Robinson. He was a retired crate assemblyman for the Trane Company in Lexington. He loved southern gospel music and was an avid horseshoe player. He loved working on small engines, as well as spending time with his family and attending church. He was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle of London, Kentucky.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be conducted Saturday, June 26 at 1:00 PM at Brush Creek Holiness Church in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky with Bro. Lester Carpenter and Bro. Lonnie McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Briarfield Cemetery in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Donald Ray Robinson will receive friends at the Brush Creek Holiness Church after 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
