Mr. Edward A. Prewitt, age 61, of Maynardville, Tennessee and formerly of Keavy, Kentucky passed away Saturday evening at his residence. He was the husband of 42 years of Karla Rookard Prewitt of Maynardville, Tennessee. He was the father of William Prewitt of Wapanucka, Oklahoma, Renda Gibson of Oliver Springs, Tennessee and Jennifer Chapman also of Wapanucka, Oklahoma. He was the brother of Raymond Prewitt of Sterns, Kentucky, Judith Haddock of Kenefic, Oklahoma and Karen Gist of Houston, Texas. He was also blessed with nine grandchildren, two of which he helped raise like his own, Zeth Sanders and Erika Drinnon both of Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. Edward A. Prewitt will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in the Corbin Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jonathon Absher officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Edward Prewitt will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Corbin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Edward A.
