Edward Stuart Warfield

Mr. Edward Warfield, age 90, husband of the late Lois J. Humfleet Warfield of  London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday morning at the St. Joseph of London Hospital.

He was the father of Gregory Stuart Warfield and Rebecca Sue Warfield both of Louisville, Kentucky. He was also blessed with several nieces and nephews, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended the Mount Olivet Baptist Church in London, Kentucky. He was a retired educator and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, Temus Sylvester and Florence Goodin Warfield, by three brothers, Robert Warfield, Herbert Warfield and Austin Warfield, by four sisters, Daisy Mae Warfield Tipton, Juanana Warfield Root, Barbara Lou Warfield Dorton and Jewel Warfield.

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Warfield will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Ron Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Edward Warfield will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
