Mr. Edward Ray Whittaker, age 69 of Dogwood Trace, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday evening at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.
He was the son of Delphia Evelyn Whittaker and the late, Billy R. Whittaker of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the brother of Billy Whittaker and wife, Connie of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the nephew of Charlene Gambrel of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the United States Army.
Funeral services for Mr. Edward Ray Whittaker will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Paul officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the local D.A.V. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon in the Barbourville City Cemetery in Barbourville, Kentucky.
