Elvin Richard Chappell

Mr. Elvin Richard Chappell, age 72, of Crest Street, Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday afternoon at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the father of Shane Chappell and wife, Nicole and Sherawn Chappell, all of Michigan City, Indiana. He was the brother of Diana Norem of Corbin, Kentucky. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.  

He was of the Baptist faith and a retired truck driver. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the American Legion and the local D.A.V.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elvin Chappell and Joy Justice Chappell.

Following the wishes of Mr. Elvin Richard Chappell, the family has requested all services be PRIVATE.

Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky.
