Eugene Garland

Mr. Stanley Eugene Garland, age 60, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday afternoon at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was the son of Elmer and Letha House Garland of Science Hill, Kentucky. He was the brother of Della Garland-Spears and husband, Thomas of Science Hill Kentucky and Stephen Garland and wife, Lee of Lexington, Kentucky. He was the uncle of Jakob Keith of Science Hill, Kentucky, Malachi Garland and Micah Garland both of Lexington, Kentucky and Katlyn Holley of Campbellsville, Kentucky. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Mary Jo Ray of Somerset, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by two nephews, Wesley Spears and Zac Garland.

Funeral services for Mr. Stanley Eugene Garland will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Meece and Bro. Ron Wesley officiating. Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery in Science Hill, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Stanley Eugene Garland will receive friends at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour 1:00 p.m.
