Mrs. Faye Smith Mitchell age 57, wife of Fred Mitchell of Hwy 830, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday morning at her residence. She was the mother of Marjorie Key and husband, Gary Hendrickson of Woodbine, Kentucky, Dorothy James and Husband, P.J. of Corbin, Kentucky and Jessica Alsip of Woodbine, Kentucky. She was the sister of Dennis Smith of Corbin, Kentucky, Marella Baker of Lexington, Kentucky, Effie Kahren and Darlene Lockhart both of Corbin, Kentucky, Priscilla Bright of Girdler, Kentucky and Jeanne Farmer of Nicholasville, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Smith Mitchell will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jabe Smith and Bro. Gary Haist officiating. Burial will follow in the Faye Mitchell Memorial Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky. The family of Mrs. Faye Smith Mitchell will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Corbin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Faye Smith Mitchell.
