Mr. Floyd Scott, age 81, the husband of the late Mary Joyce Norvell Scott, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and formerly of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday at his residence. He was the father of David L. Scott and wife Jean of Marietta, Georgia and Clifford W. Scott and wife Sherley of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. By two sisters, Mary Brown of Orlando, Florida  and Hazel Norvell and husband, Chester of Florence, Kentucky.  By two brothers, Clifford Scott of Lafollette, Tennessee and James Scott of Ft. Thomas,  Kentucky. Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Scott will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the Sand Spring Baptist Church, 1616 Harrodsburg Road, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. The family of Mr. Floyd Scott will receive friends at the Sand Spring Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 4:00 p.m. Graveside services and burial for Mr. Floyd Scott will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky with the local D.A.V. in charge of military honors.
