Mr. James B. Wagner, age 82, husband of the late Elsie Marie Ball Wagner of Dayberry Lane, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.
He was the father of James Wagner of Corbin, Kentucky and Virginia Lynn Nixon and husband, Mike of Monroe, North Carolina. He was the brother of Ricky Wagner of Idaho.
Besides his wife he was also preceded in death by his parents, Howard Jerome and Virginia Alcorn Wagner. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Church of God, Mountain Assembly. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Memorial services for Mr. James B. Wagner will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Matney officiating. Burial will follow in the Stansbury Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Mr. James B. Wagner will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
