Johnny Lee Farris

Mr. Johnny Lee Farris, age 64, husband of Laura Sites Farris of Hart Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Sunday afternoon at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.

He was the father of Jonathan Curtis Farris and Rita Frisk both of Corbin, Kentucky and Dennis Frisk of London, Kentucky. He was the brother of James E. Farris and wife, Faye of Corbin, Kentucky, JoEllen Norton and husband, Charles, Patricia Hutson and husband, Paul and Judy Lester and husband, John all of New Palestine, Indiana and Lynn Seitz and husband, Paul of Greenfield, Indiana. He was also blessed with two grandchildren, Kaiden and Kaisley Frisk both of London, Kentucky, He was the brother-in-law of Sharon Farris of Corbin, Kentucky He is also survived by two very close friends, Cody Cooper and Brian Kitchen and a host of nieces and nephews, other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. Farris and Ella Mae Phelps Farris and by one brother, Daryl W. Farris.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Lee Farris will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery in the Rockhold Community of Whitley County. The family of Mr. Johnny Lee Farris will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Frisk, Shawn Lester, Devin Johnson, Cody Cooper, Brent Norton and Brian Kitchen. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jonathan Curtis Farris.
