Funeral Information

Ms. Linda Rawlings Horn, age 73 wife of the late, Jerry Horn of Hickory Lane, East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday evening at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. 

 She was the sister of Wilson Rawlings and wife, June of London, Kentucky and Charlotte Rawlings Sizemore of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was the aunt of Eric Sizemore and Fiancé, Rebecca Collins of Manchester, Kentucky, Erin Sizemore Martin and Quinn Sizemore Hunt both of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was the great-aunt of Tyler Hamm of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was a retired Captain in the United States Army where she served in the Nurse Corps as a medical-surgical nurse. Being honorably discharged and receiving an Army Overseas Service Ribbon and a National Defense Service Medal.

Besides her husband, she is also preceded in death by her parents, A.W. “Gus” and Marjorie Smith Rawlings, founders of the Rawlings Funeral Home in London, Kentucky.

Following the wishes of Ms. Linda Rawlings Horn. The family has requested all services be PRIVATE. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Laurel County Animal Shelter, 1697 Chris Hamblin Memorial Lane, London, Kentucky 40741 or The Wounded Warrior Project, 223 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Suite 301, Nashville, Tennessee.
