Lisa Renee (Goodin) Davis

Ms. Lisa Renee Goodin-Davis, age 56, wife of the late, Abner Samuel Davis, Sr. of Goodin Lane, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday morning at her residence.

She was the mother of Sammie Davis, Jr. and wife, Amanda and Shannin Jenkins and husband, Ricky Wilburn all of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the step-mother of Sarah Davis and Megan Davis both of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Shana Lange of Pineville, Kentucky. She was the grandmother of Savanna Davis, Breeann Jenkins, Scotty Davis, Jaylynn Wilburn, Sawyer Davis and Kortlin Wilburn. She was the aunt of David Ross Goodin of Corbin, Kentucky and Christie Keltner and husband, John of London, Kentucky.  She was the godmother of Sue Adkins and husband, Dan of Corbin, Kentucky.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Claire A. Ross and Retha Claxton Goodin, by one son, Scotty Edward Goodin, by one brother, David Goodin and by one sister, Beverly Goodin.

 She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a Head Start Teacher for Bell-Whitley Head Start.

Funeral services for Ms. Lisa Renee Goodin-Davis will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Friday in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brian Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Lisa Renee Goodin-Davis will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evening.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Wilburn, John Keltner, Trent Keltner, Brandon Mitchell, David Goodin, Matt Jones, Brad Collier, Brandon Powers, Daniel Adkins and Roy Wells. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Keltner, Emmett Hughes and Koda Boggs.
