Mrs. Minnie Edna Wilson, age 104 of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Saturday afternoon at the Hill Crest Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the mother of Opal Jean Mize of Mesa, Arizona. She was blessed with four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of wonderful great-great-grandchildren and many other family, church family and friends. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Faye Gambrel and Doris Mae White Borden, by her first husband, Gerald White, by her second husband, John Wilson, by one brother, Elmer Duncan, by her parents, William Hoover and Emily Johnson Hoover, by her biological parents, Thomas Edgar Cobb and Mary Jane Cummins. Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Edna Wilson will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Roach officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Mrs. Minnie Edna Wilson will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Corbin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Minnie Edna Wilson.
