Pauline (Chaney) Dodd

Mrs. Pauline Chaney Dodd, age 94, of Adams Street, Corbin, Kentucky the widow of the late Fletcher A. Dodd passed away on Tuesday morning at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was the mother of David Lawrence Dodd and wife, Beverly and Luann Anderson and husband, Chris all of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the sister of Rev. Gordon Chaney and wife, Rebecca Corrine of Eubank, Kentucky and Shirley Meece of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the grandmother of Heather Morgan, Nathanael Anderson and Issac Anderson all of Corbin, Kentucky, Dana Dodd of London, Kentucky and Jeremy Cheek of Lexington, Kentucky. She was the great-grandmother of Addison Morgan of Corbin, Kentucky. Besides her husband and several siblings, she was also preceded in death by her parents, William Amos and Eva Marie Calhoun Chaney. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Chaney Dodd will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Friday in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Albert Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 12:00 Noon on Friday.

Graveside services and burial for Mrs. Pauline Chaney Dodd will be conducted on Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in the Mt. Victory Community of Pulaski County, Kentucky with Rev. Gordon Chaney officiating.

In accordance with the current health mandate from the Governor of Kentucky, the family asks that all visitors please wear face masks and practice proper social distancing practices while in attendance at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Operation Christmas Child, 2650 Memorial Boulevard, Suite B, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.
