Mr. Ray Hammons, age 78, the husband of Shirley Cupp Hammons of Hwy. 552, Lily, Kentucky passed on Friday morning at his residence. He was the father of David Ray Hammons of Corbin, Kentucky, Donald Boyce Hammons of Lily, Kentucky and Ronald Royce Hammons of London, Kentucky and Teresa Annalee Burton of Somerset, Kentucky. He was the brother of Ford Hammons of Corbin, Kentucky and Lilly Mae Curnutt of Richmond, Virginia. Funeral services for Mr. Ray Hammons will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Helton officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Ray Hammons will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Corbin Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Hammons family.
