Richard Charles "Bud" Johnson

Mr. Richard Charles “Bud” Johnson, age 38 of Holly Grove Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday afternoon.

He was the father of Michael Elliott of Barbourville, Kentucky, Josh Johnson and Elyssa Johnson both of Jacksboro, Tennessee. He was the son of Richard and Charlotte Nix Johnson of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the brother of Aaron Miracle of London, Kentucky, Jenny Johnson and husband, Robert Price of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the grandson of Maxine Nix of Keavy, Kentucky. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl & Norma Johnson and Charles Nix. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Handyman.

Funeral Services for Mr. Richard Charles “Bud” Johnson will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jay Bob Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Richard Charles “Bud” Johnson will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pallbearers: Micheal Elliott, Arnold Wayne Maggard, Aaron Miracle, Robert Price, Jenny Johnson and Holly Price.
