Richard Leroy Smith

Mr. Richard Leroy Smith, age 69 of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday evening at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.

He was the father of Richard Smith, Danielle Smith, Jackie Smith, Christal Smith all of Loraine, Ohio and Holly Smith of Elyria, Ohio. He was the brother of James Smith, Junior Smith, Betty Witt and Carolyn Smith all of Corbin, Kentucky, Donavan Holdaway of Florida and Susan Gregory of West Virginia.

He was also blessed with five grandchildren, Jose Castro, Emilio Rivera, Miguel Rojas, Zamarra Johnson and Hope Smith and three great-grandchildren, Jose Castro, Jr., Lorenzo Castro and Ramanni Rivera. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Effie Sasser Smith, by his brothers, Robert Smith, Billy Smith, David Smith and Carl Smith and by one sister, Mary Matthews and by his best friend & cousin, Gene Blevins.

Graveside services and burial for Mr. Richard Leroy Smith will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning in the Brafford Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky with Pastor Jeremiah Banks officiating. There will be NO VISITATION.
