Ricky Ray Sawyers

Mr. Ricky Ray Sawyers, age 32, husband of Heather Nicole Roark Sawyers of Taylor Bridge Road, London, Kentucky passed away on Friday morning at the St. Joseph of London Hospital in London, Kentucky.

He was the father of Elijah Ray Sawyers, Aubrey Nicole Sawyers and Emmalyn Rose Sawyers all of London, Kentucky. He was the son of Lonnie Wayne and Anita Marie Sawyers of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the brother of Lonnie Wayne Sawyers, II and wife Regina, Justin Michael David and wife, Kim, Ronnie Vaughn and Jerry Vaughn and wife, Abigail all of Corbin, Kentucky. He is also survived by his maternal mother, Brenda Vaughn of Corbin, Kentucky.

He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at the AISIN Company in the quality control department.

Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Ray Sawyers will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lenny Strunk officiating. Burial will follow in the Roark Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Ricky Ray Sawyers will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be, Jerry Allen, Chris Broughton, Anthony Barlow, Dillon Adkins, Adam Roark, Justin David,
Lonnie Wayne Sawyers II, Ronnie Vaughn, Jerry Vaughn and James Wagers.
