Robert Clem Haynes

Mr. Robert C. Haynes, age 86, husband of Francis Haynes of Dogwood Trace, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Sunday morning at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.

He was the father of Dena Foley and husband, Scott of Corbin, Kentucky, Melinda Baker and special Friend, Rick of Tampa, Florida, Lois Gray and husband, Scott of Circleville, Ohio and Betty Hill and husband, Jim of Owings, Maryland. He was the brother of Arnold Haynes, Ronnie Haynes and Rachel Collins all of Cincinnati, Ohio and Margaret McCoy of Vevay, Indiana. He was survived by eight grandchildren, Eric Baker of Tampa, Florida, Robert Russell and wife, Kayla of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Adam Russell and wife, Nicole of Liberty, Kentucky, Jared Jones and special friend, Mariah of Hamilton, Ohio, Danielle Jones of Circleville, Ohio, James Hill of North Carolina, Daniel Hill of Utah and Angela Hill of Maryland. He was also survived by special neighbors; Chris and Dena Towe He was also blessed with several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rainey and Arlie Williams Haynes, by one brother, James Haynes and by two sisters, Mary Wells and Helen Blust.

He was retired from the American Laundry and Machine Company and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert C. Haynes will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl Gregory and Rev. Charlie Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery in Knox County. The family of Mr. Robert C. Haynes will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
