Ms. Ruby Gregory Farley, age 94 wife of the late, Cam Farley of Robinson Creek Road, Lily, Kentucky passed away on Monday afternoon at her residence.
She was survived by her nephews, Ronnie Taylor of Lily, Kentucky and Jerry Wayne Taylor of Arkansas. By her nieces, Janice Taylor Porter of Lily, Kentucky and June Worstell of Lafayette, Indiana. By two special caregivers, Beulah Pridemore and Peggy Engle both of Lily, Kentucky. She was also greatly loved by her dog, Lucky and her cat, Wisp. She was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and attended the Lily Holiness Church.
Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by one son, Mitchell D. Madden, by her sisters, Martha Pearl Taylor, Hazel Maxwell, Nancy Hughes, Helen Smith, Vernice Phillips and Betty Porter. By her brothers, Troy Ivey, Johnny Ivey, Calvin Ivey and Roy Ivey.
Funeral services for Ms. Ruby Farley will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ryan Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Ruby Farley will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
