Mr. Rufus Elmer Harris, age 92, the husband of the late Kathleen Hatcher Harris of Prospect, Kentucky and formerly of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Monday evening at the Norton-Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the father of Helen Marie Harms of Prospect, Kentucky and Linda LeCompte of Shelbyville, Kentucky. He was the brother of Ruth Dillion of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the grandfather of Jason Seiber of Hayden, Alabama and the great-grandfather of Paige Seiber of Louisville, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mr. Rufus Elmer Harris will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. The family of Mr. Rufus Elmer Harris will receive friends at Corbin Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
