Susie Marie (Nantz) Lewis

Mrs. Susie Marie Nantz Lewis, age 73, wife of Bige Edward Lewis of Steele Hollow Road, Rockholds, Kentucky passed away on Monday at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.

She was the mother of Derek Lewis and Angela Lewis both of Rockholds, Kentucky, Jeff Lewis and Frances Campbell both of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the sister of Walter John Nantz, Floyd Tilmon Nantz and wife, Martha, William Henry Nantz, Delmer Lee Nantz, and Mattie Bertha Kysar all of Rockholds, Kentucky. Naomi Pauline Gay of McKee, Kentucky, Pearlie Jean Seals of London, Kentucky, Debbie June Turner and husband, Johnny of Annville, Kentucky and Amy Deacon and husband, Tharon of Nashville, Tennessee. She was also blessed with five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Corn Creek Baptist Church in Woodbine, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lela Irene Bowen Nantz, by one son, Junior Brooks, by one daughter, Lela Brooks and by one brother, Thurmon Charles Nantz.

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Marie Nantz Lewis will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Kyser officiating. Burial will follow in the Corn Creek Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky. The family of Mrs. Susie Marie Nantz Lewis will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Eric Campbell, William Campbell, Dominic Campbell, Darren Campbell, Sean Campbell, Tom Evans and Hunter Lewis.
