Ms. Tammy Hope Hendrien Slusher, age 59, of Expresso Lane, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Sunday evening at her residence.
She was the mother of Joey Wade Rice-Durant of Whitehouse, Ohio and Tonya Lynn Rice-Durant of Monroe, Michigan. She was the grandmother of Adelle Durant of Lexington, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Ford Herrell of Corbin, Kentucky. She was the sister of Ford Dwayne Herrell and wife, Melissa and Alan Wade Herrell and fiancé, Kathleen Boggs all of Corbin, Kentucky and Mitch Hendrien and wife, Peggy of Toledo, Ohio.
She was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Lickliter Pentecostal Church of God in Jesus Name.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Slusher, by her mother, Pauline Stanley Herrell and by one brother, Richard Roy Hendrien.
Funeral services for Ms. Tammy Hope Hendrien Slusher will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Ms. Tammy Hope Hendrien Slusher will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Ford Herrell, Ford D. Herrell, Mitch Hendrien, Billy J. Stanley, Allen Herrell, Bubby Herrell and Keith Stanley.
