From Theodora Meadow’s parents -
We affectionately referred to our girl as "Theo" and a laundry list of nicknames for every situation.
We knew the moment we found out we were pregnant she was our Theodora. We were happy beyond measure. We hold onto that happiness today.
We longed to be pregnant. We wanted her. We loved her before she was with us and the day she came into the world was the best of our lives - every single day we had with her was the best of our life.
She smiled every time we called her beautiful and we loved being her Mommy and Daddy more than anything on this earth.
We had our sweet girl cremated so she can always be here in our home with us where she belongs.
We want to leave you all with this quote from Neil Degrasse Tyson on cremation. We have subbed Theo's name for that of who it was originally written.
“We do know the physics of cremation: the energy contents of her body, itself reduced to ash, actually enters Earth's atmosphere. It ultimately escapes to space in the form of infrared energy, radiating in all directions at the speed of light filling the voids of the cosmos with her presence. At the moment I write this, Theodora's energy has extended a half-trillion miles into space more than 100- times the distance of Pluto. Though she will live in collective memories for all of our lives, in the universe she lives for all eternity.”
Our sweet girl now exists among the stars and all of the beauty of the cosmos and heavens - she is the most beautiful part of the entire galaxy.
We love you sweet beautiful Theo,
Mommy & Daddy
