Mr. Thomas Edmund Ftacek, Jr. age 68, the husband of Amelia Joyce Howard Ftacek of Lexington, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday morning at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Michael Ftacek and wife, Roberta of Surprise, Arizona, Charles Ftacek of Los Angeles, California and Michelle Payne and husband, Mark of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the step-father of Duane Holloman of Berea, Kentucky, Gina Slone and Husband, Toby of Lexington, Kentucky and Tonya Frederick and husband, Tony of Berea, Kentucky. He was the brother of David C. Ftacek of Owensboro, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Edmund Ftacek will be conducted on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin with the local D.A.V. in charge of military honors. The family of Mr. Thomas Edmund Ftacek will receive friends on Saturday at Corbin Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m.  Corbin Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Ftacek family.
