Violet Sue (Boggs) Ward

Mrs. Violet Sue Ward, age 70 the wife of Tom Ward of Punta Gorda, Florida and formerly of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 1st in Florida. She was the daughter of Rev. Troy Boggs and wife, Mary Jane of London, Kentucky. She was the mother of Gerald "Jay" Rogers, Melissa Drones and husband, Patrick all of Phoenix City, Alabama, Jason Ward and wife, Lenny of Henderson, Kentucky and Matthew Ward of McDonough, Georgia. She was the sister of Rose Mary Boggs of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, David Boggs and wife, Debbie of Frankfort, Kentucky and  James Boggs and wife, Sandra of Lexington, Kentucky. She was the grandmother of Steven Jacobs of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Seth Jacobs of Columbus, Georgia, Anna Le of Columbus, Georgia, Ryan Ward of Henderson, Kentucky, Hunter Ward of Henderson, Kentucky and Hailey Habib of San Diego, California. Memorial services for Mrs. Violet Sue Ward will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20th 2019 at the Souls' Harbor Church in London, Kentucky. There will be NO VISITATION but a reception will immediately follow after the service. Private graveside services and burial will be at a later date at the Larkey Cemetery in London, Kentucky. In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial contribution be made to the Sue Ward Memorial Fund in care of Souls' Harbor Church, 70 Souls' Harbor Way, London, Kentucky 40744.
