Mr. William George Marme, Jr. age 77 of Thoroughbred Trail, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Saturday afternoon at his residence.
He was the father of Billy Marme and Fiancé, Heather May of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the Fiancé of Patty Lane of Gray, Kentucky. He was the brother of Deborah Tuck and husband, Tom of Charlevoix, Michigan. He was the step-father of Becky Marcum and husband, Johnny of Corbin, Kentucky and Mikey Lane and wife, Amber of Gray, Kentucky. He was the grandfather of William Lane Marme and Landon Lawrence Marme both of Glasgow, Kentucky, Hailey Faith Marme of Georgetown, Kentucky, Chase Michael Brown, Bentley Harlan Edward Smith, Emily Marcum, and Josie Marcum all of Corbin, Kentucky, Brittany Eaton and husband, Dalton of Pennsylvania, Abrielle Lane, Madaline Lane and Paislee Lane all of Gray, Kentucky.
He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Gray’s Baptist Church in Gray, Kentucky. He was a retired truck driver for C.P.C. One-world Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his parents William George and Ruth Supernaw Marme.
Funeral services for Mr. William George Marme, Jr. will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. The family of Mr. William George Marme, Jr. will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Pallbearers will be: Lane Marme, Landon Marme, Hailey Marme, Bill Marme, Mikey Lane and Tristan Elliott.
