Mr. William Carl Shepherd, age 63 of West City Dam Rd. Keavy, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday at The V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Stacey Wayne Shepherd and wife Samantha, William “Lucas” Shepherd and wife, Morgan, Sherry Lynn Shepard and Fiancé Troy Crook all of London, Kentucky and Elisha “Adam” Shepherd and wife, Hannah of Berea, Kentucky. He was the brother of Don Shepherd of Keavy, Kentucky, James Shepherd of London, Kentucky and Jim Maggard of Columbia, Kentucky, Wanda Van Loomis of Keavy, Kentucky and Francis Fugate of Hamilton, Ohio. He was the grandfather of Cody Shepherd, Stacey Ryan Shepherd and Sadie Brielle Shepherd all of London, Kentucky and Kathryn Eden Shepherd and Garrett Elisha Shepherd both of Berea, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mr. William Carl Shepherd will be conducted on Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Hightop Baptist Church in London, Kentucky with Bro. Roger Hale and Bro. Ronnie Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky with the local D.A.V. in charge of military honors. The family of Mr. William Carl Shepherd will receive friends at Hightop Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. on Thursday evening.
