Willie Brown Guy

Mr. Willie Brown Guy, age 86 the husband of Ms. Eulas Guy of Keavy, Kentucky passed away on Saturday morning at the Heritage Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky.  He was the father of Willie Darrell Guy of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Danny Guy and wife, Patricia of Pasadena, Maryland, Bruce Guy and wife, Brenda and Melissa Freeman all of Keavy, Kentucky. He was the brother of William Perry of Florida. He was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was a Deacon at Faith Baptist Church of Corbin, Kentucky and a Veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry & Elizabeth Hamlin Guy, by one son, Warren Dale Guy, by one brother, James Perry and by two sisters, Ethel Johnson and Bessie Perry. Funeral services for Mr. Willie Brown Guy will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Matthew Church and Bro. David Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky with the local D.A.V. in charge of military honors. The family of Mr. Willie Brown Guy will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
