Worley Franklin Parks

Mr. Worley Franklin Parks, age 91 of Bacon Creek Road, Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday afternoon at the Beechtree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico, Tennessee.

He was the father of Susan Hill, Diane Cloud and Earlene McKiddy and husband, Matt of all of Corbin, Kentucky and Penny Bingham and husband, Rick of Barbourville, Kentucky. He was the brother of Robert Parks and wife Betty and Helen Shorter and husband, Rick all of Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Dripping Springs Baptist Church in Barbourville, Kentucky. He was retired from the Allison Aeronautical Engine Company of Indiana and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded him in death by one son, Ricky Parks and by his parents, Lloyd and Dora Elizabeth McConnell Parks.

Following the wishes of Mr. Parks there will be NO FORMAL SERVICES. Burial will be in the Parks-McConnell Cemetery in Jonesville, Virgina.
